Creative Abilities are a dedicated group of people who work alongside people with physical and other needs. We are a private company that provides social work for all people, 24 hour supported flatting with the focus on lifestyle 'normalisation'.

We work with people and their support systems to open new doors in their personal lives and within the wider community.

17 years have seen Creative Abilities & Associates expand from a small social work and advocacy service to supporting young people to live in flats of their own where 24 hour care is provided.

BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE-BOCCIA TOURNAMENT

Creative Abilities, Cerebral Palsy Society and IRIS came together for the second time funding and organising the Boccia “Battle of the Bridge” tournament in Auckland on the weekend of 16-17th July. It was hosted by ‘North’ this year at AUT University North Shore Campus, Sport & Fitness Stadium. The rivalry between ‘North’ and ‘South’ was fierce, North aiming to reclaim the cup and South doing their best to take it from them. Participants were paired respectively, with points scored from the games tallied together accumulatively to the corresponding teams. After a wonderful weekend of great fun, a great competion and great sportmanship, ‘North’ (286) defended their title and again came out on top…despite some very strong and much improved performances by the ‘South’ (214). WELL DONE NORTH!!!
